New Clients

What to expect during your first appointment:

Your first appointment will likely last between 60 and 90 minutes. The focus will be on determining the specific nature of your problem and outlining an initial treatment plan. This is primarily an information-gathering meeting. At the conclusion of this session, you will be given specific recommendations in order to begin treatment.

We will reserve this time specifically for you. If you find that you need to reschedule, kindly give at least 48 hours notice.  If you feel more comfortable being accompanied by a friend or relative, please feel free to invite them.

Prior to your appointment, please complete the NEW CLIENT PAPERWORK and bring it with you to your appointment. It generally takes at least 30 minutes to complete this packet and completing it ahead of time allows for better use of your session time. If you are unable to bring the completed forms with you then please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive late or without the proper paperwork your appointment may need to be shortened or  possibly rescheduled.

We ask that you bring the following to your appointment:

  1. The bottles for all medicines you are currently taking.
  2. Insurance card.
  3. Photo ID.
  4. Most recent lab results, if available.
  5. Psychiatric records, if available.
  6. Fully completed New Client Packet.
  7. Co-pay, deductible, or payment is due at the time of service.

We accept the following Insurance plans:

  • Regence BlueShield
  • First Choice Health
  • Premera Blue Cross
  • Lifewise

Please contact your plan for details. Insurance plans are numerous and complex. It is in your best interest to contact your insurance company prior to the initial session.

Financial Policy:

We collect payment at the time of the visit.  We do not submit insurance claims unless we participate with your insurance company. If we are not contracted with your insurance company, or if you do not have insurance, you will be asked to pay for the visit prior to receiving services.  You will be given the necessary information to bill your insurance company directly. For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards, cash, or check.

If you have further questions, please feel free to contact our office.

We look forward to meeting you.
